Is the Aika Wellness Pitta Collection suitable for sensitive skin (including Rosacea, Psoriasis, Eczema, and Dermatitis)? Aika Wellness products are formulated to be suitable for the most delicate and sensitive skin. The Pitta Dosha Range has been specifically created for sensitive, inflamed and irritable skin. It is soothing, cooling and calming for the skin.

Do I use it before or after I moisturize? There are several ways you can use this facial spray: Mist it on clean skin to boost hydration before applying your daily moisturizer or night cream. Mist over makeup for setting it and creating a luminous and dewy finish. Keep a bottle of Facial Spray handy to refresh your face during the day. Keep in in the fridge, particularly great for those hot summer days, for a refreshing, cooling and sunburn soothing mist.

What is the shelf life of the AIKA Wellness Tonic? All Aika Wellness products have a shelf life of two years when unopened. We recommend you use each product within six months of opening it.

Is Aika Wellness packaging sustainable? Zero waste? Aika products are housed in beautiful biophotonic deep violet Swiss glass which is fully recyclable. All labels and print material are biodegradable and printed with vegetable inks. Aika does not use boxes in an effort to minimize the impact of deforestation and energy that goes into making what is essentially a disposable item.

Is this face toner? Cruelty free? Yes. The Pitta Face Tonic is vegan friendly (please note some Aika Wellness products contain organic beeswax). Aika Wellness is certified organic and neither their ingredients or the final products are ever tested on animals which is independently verified as such by their certifier – Australian Certified Organic (ACO). By choosing certified organic products you can be assured that no animal testing or child labour is used and fair trade for fair work is maintained. Aika does not export to China as they have regulations that require all skincare products to be tested on animals. Until those regulations are changed they will not export to China.

Where are Aika Wellness products made? Aika Wellness products are made in micro batches in their own specially certified organic studio, affectionately called ‘The Lighthouse’. Products are freshly hand blended, hand filled and hand labeled. Every batch is unique.
