Bamboo Toothbrush With Activated Charcoal Bristles

What is the point of using a bamboo toothbrush? It is estimated that about 1 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown out in the US each year, creating about 50 million pounds of plastic waste. Bamboo toothbrushes are made from sustainable materials and when you are finished you can compost the handle and recycle the bristles. Bamboo handles take about 6 months to breakdown whereas plastic is believed to take hundreds of years.

Is this toothbrush completely BPA free? Yes. The bristles are BPA free nylon and the handle is 100% bamboo.

How long is this toothbrush? It's approximately 7 1/2 inches long.

How long will a toothbrush last? It is recommended that you replace your toothbrush every 2-3 months. That being said - our testers have told us the brushes have lasted for much longer and still show no signs of wear.

Is this toothbrush biodegradable? The bamboo handle is biodegradable. Please remove the nylon bristles before composting.

I brush my teeth in the shower, will it fall apart if I leave it in the shower? We do not recommend leaving this toothbrush in the shower. It is made of wood which may mold if kept wet. We recommend rinsing with water until clean then leaving it somewhere dry between brushings.
