L'Abeille's Ice Therapy Skin Tea imparts an instant glow to dull, congested or aging skin. An ice facial leaves skin looking visibly tighter, smoother and perfectly primed for makeup.
Harnessing the natural healing power of botanicals and modern cryotherapy (cold cure), this DIY ice facial helps reduce puffiness, calm irritation and minimize the appearance of pores. Organic Globe-Amaranth Flowers plus Vitamin C Rich Hibiscus Flowers, Gogi Berries & Sea Buckthorn help brighten and protect against skin damaging free radicals. Organic Chamomile Flowers & Organic Marshmallow Root softens skin and soothe irritation.
Brew contents in 250 ml (1 cup) of hot water. Let steep for 20 minutes. Remove the sachet and pour tea into an ice cube tray. One week supply (7 ice cubes).
To use: Use 1 cube at night after cleansing for one week each month. Apply directly to clean skin or wrap ice cube in a light cloth. Apply gently to your face, neck and décolleté in soft sweeping or circular motions without pressure. CAUTION: DO NOT OVEREXPOSE SKIN TO COLD.
Can I apply the ice directly to my skin? Yes, but be sure to gently move the ice around your face and don't keep it one spot to avoid damaging skin. Some people prefer wrapping the ice cube in a soft cloth (muslin face cloth or gauze) or even paper towel. Wait until the ice starts to melt then apply to your skin in soft sweeping motions. Do not hold in one spot for long.
Is it good to put ice on your face? Using an ice pack on a sports injury is a common practice to help reduce pain and swelling in soft tissue injuries. The same principles apply to skin icing. Skin icing is an old Hollywood trick commonly used by beauty experts in spas. The cold therapy helps stimulate blood flow to skin cells bringing essential nutrients to the skin thereby making your skin look more radiant.
How long should you ice your face? Rub the ice gently all over your face for 2 to 3 minutes. Your skin will feel wet and cold. You can wrap the ice cube in a light cloth if you prefer. Be careful not to overexpose your skin to the cold as this can damage skin.
Can skin icing help with acne or blemishes? One of the most popular uses of ice cubes is to help calm the redness and swelling associated with pimples. Icing may also help minimize oil production. Do not expect results overnight. You will likely need to repeat this procedure for a few days to see results. Do not leave ice on a pimple for a prolonged time as this can damage your skin. Remember that pimples are also full of bacteria so be careful not to transfer the bacteria to other parts of your face
Do I need to use it daily? Yes. To achieve full benefits it is recommended that you use it for 7 days in a row, once a month.
Can I make smaller ice cubes? Yes. If you prefer you can add a little extra water and make 14 smaller ice cubes. You still want to complete the treatment in one week for best results. Use once ice cube in the morning and the 2nd ice cube at night
Is it better to use in the morning or before bed? Skin icing can be done as part of your morning or evening ritual. If you are concerned about puffiness – you may prefer to make it part of your morning routine as it can help eliminate or reduce puffiness and prime your face for makeup
