Does this mineral sunscreen leave a white cast? No. It's a lightweight moisturizing day cream with SPF 30 that blends quickly into skin with no visible white cast.

Does Honua Skincare Malu Day Cream provide enough protection from the sun? Malu is a lightweight moisturizing cream with SPF 30. It provides some protection from the sun but we recommend you use additional sun protection if you plan to spend any length of time outdoors.

Is Honua's Malu Protecting Day Cream tinted? No. It is a white lotion that blends easily into skin without leaving a white cast. It can be used on its own or layers well under makeup.

What does the CO2 beside some ingredients mean? Supercritical CO2 extraction is a more sophisticated and purer method of extracting oils from plants. Most of the essential oils we know and love are obtained through steam distillation. This involves heating the plants. Supercritical CO2 extraction uses carbon dioxide gas which is nontoxic, odorless, and easily removed from the extracted oil at the end of the process. Because lower temperatures are used during the process – heat sensitive plant components are preserved. The result is products that are more potent, more stable and have a longer shelf life.

Is it good for oily/dry skin? Yes. It is suitable for all skin types.
