Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide (Non-Nano) 22%

Inactive Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Isostearic Acid.

Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.

Does it leave a white cast? No. Initially all zinc oxide sunscreens will leave a bit of white until it is absorbed, including this one. Once it absorbs there is no white residue and a matte finish.

Does sunscreen expire? Salt & Stone Sunscreens have a shelf life of approximately 3 years.

Is it waterproof? It is water resistant for 80 minutes. We recommend re-applying every hour if you burn easily.

What is the active ingredient in this sunscreen? Non-Nano Zinc Oxide 22%. Unlike chemical sunscreens which are absorbed into your skin - Zinc Oxide sits on top of your skin and absorbs and reflects harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Is it reef safe? Yes. Non-Nano Zinc oxide is widely regarded as ocean/reef safe and it is free from all chemical sunscreens like oxybenzone or octinoxate.

Does it blend in easily? Yes. If you do have trouble - we recommend applying after you have moisturized.

Is this sunscreen vegan and cruelty free? Every product we stock is cruelty free. This sunscreen contains beeswax so it is not vegan.
