Is Mokosh Pure Body Balm scented? It does not contain any fragrance. However, the organic cacao butter does impart a light chocolatey scent.
Can I use Mokosh Pure Body Balm on my face? You can use it on your face to protect against chapping when spending time outdoors. However, we recommend Mokosh Light or Rich face cream for regular use on your face.
Is it safe for sensitive skin? Yes. It does not contain any essential oils and is safe to on sensitive skin.
Is it greasy? You will definitely find a balm heavier than your regular lotion or cream which often have a high water content and it does take a little longer to absorb. The trick with a balm is to use the tinniest amount and smooth on damp skin. If the balm is extra thick - let it warm between your fingers or in your palm — this thins the product and helps it distribute better. Be sure to start with the smallest amount and only add more if needed.
