Sesame & Frankincense Body Oil

Can I use the sesame and frankincense body oil on my hair? Yes. Sesame & Frankincense Body Oil combines sesame, avocado, hemp, baobab, and black cumin oils, with the essential oils frankincense & rose geranium, and makes a beautifully nourishing and fragrant hair oil. Massage a small amount into your scalp then comb through hair. For best results, leave on for 1 hour then shampoo as usual.

When is the best time to use your body oils? The best time to apply your body oil is when your skin is still damp - ideally, after a bath or shower. When the skin is damp, it spreads more easily and helps your skin better absorb nutrients.

Is a body oil better than a body lotion for hydrating dry skin? Mokosh Skincare’s Sesame & Frankincense body oil is a great solution for dry skin. Rich in essential fatty acids – it helps your skin retain its moisture levels and leaves skin feeling velvety soft. In contrast, while body lotions also moisturize – the high water content means they evaporate faster and skin softening benefits are not as long lasting. If your skin is extremely dry – you may prefer a heavier cream like Mokosh Skincare’s Frankincense & Orange Body Cream.

How much body oil should I use? Like face oils, body oils are highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way! Start with just a bit in the palm of your hand and spread on slightly damp skin. Add more if needed.

Is the packaging recyclable? Yes. All Mokosh organic skin care products are packaged in recyclable glass and paper. Because most Mokosh products are water free (highly concentrated) and multi-tasking you will ultimately use less which also results in less packaging waste. Plastic or aluminum lids and pumps are used to ensure products don't leak. Unfortunately compostable lids are not yet available.
