Do I need to wash my face 2x a day? The jury is still out on whether or not you need to wash your face 2x per day. We strongly recommend that you always wash your face to remove makeup & environmental pollutants as well as after a workout to prevent breakouts. If you have oily skin you may benefit from washing your face morning and night.

Does if foam? No. It is a gentle cream cleanser that leaves skin soft and clean.

Is this a good face wash for oily or combination skin? Yes. Honua Skincare's Pa'Akai Cleansing cream is ideal for normal to oily and acne prone skin. It gently removes excess oil and helps balance and clarify your skin. It may also help calm redness and breakouts.

What does the CO2 beside some ingredients mean? Supercritical CO2 extraction is a more sophisticated and purer method of extracting oils from plants. Most of the essential oils we know and love are obtained through steam distillation. This involves heating the plants. Supercritical CO2 extraction uses carbon dioxide gas which is nontoxic, odorless, and easily removed from the extracted oil at the end of the process. Because lower temperatures are used during the process – heat sensitive plant components are preserved. The result is products that are more potent, more stable and have a longer shelf life.
