Does your facial roller have to be jade? No. Any roller can help increase circulation and increase lymphatic drainage.
Is this real jade?
The term “jade roller” used by sellers is both confusing and a little misleading. Our research found virtually all of the rollers currently available are made with “new jade” or serpentine jade. If a brand does not specifically name the type of crystal used – it is most likely made with serpentine jade. Serpentine jade is much cheaper than nephrite jade which makes it much more affordable. Serpentine jade is believed to have similar benefits to nephrite jade. To date, we have not found a single roller made with nephrite jade.
What is Serpentine Jade?
Like nephrite jade, Serpentine is a beautiful natural crystal. In crystal healing it is considered to have powerful healing energy that works to create an energetic and protective shield around your body. It is also believed to have cleansing and detoxifying properties.
Because serpentine jade it is much cheaper than nephrite jade it makes a very affordable roller with similar benefits to nephrite jade.
Should I keep it in the fridge? It is believed Jade rollers work better when they are cold. The Luna Nectar Metamorphic roller remains cool to the touch - but it will have an even greater soothing effect if refrigerated prior to using.
Do I have to use it daily? Use this relaxing morning ritual to eliminate any puffiness. For maximum results, use in the morning and after applying your face serum or cream.

DO NOT USE IF: Skin has severe pustular activity, cystic acne, significant active lesions, lots of red inflamed skin. It's best to wait until the skin has healed before trying to dry face brush.
FSC Certified Beechwood & soft Jute plant fibre
Jute brushes are made to comply with the highest environmental and hygienic standards
Bristles are steam cleaned with no chemicals, before being wound into the brush with corrosion resistant stainless steel wire. The wood handles are also heat treated, not sprayed with chemicals.
Jute fibre is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable. How does dry brushing work? By stimulating your skin from the outside, you aid your body by increasing blood circulation, assisting in releasing fatty deposits of cellulite under the skin’s surface, buffing off that top layer of dry flaky skin, reducing the ageing process and rejuvenating your skin cells.
How do I clean my brush? It is important to clean your brush regularly. Wash in hot soapy water once a week and leave in the sun to dry or a well ventilated area to avoid any mildew. With regards to the Natural Face brush, it is best to hang this brush to dry. Resting this brush face down on the delicate bristles will bend them out of shape.
How long will it last? These are premium quality brushes and should easily last several years if maintained properly.
Can I use it if I have a breakout?
Yes. You can dry brush your face if you have a mild breakout and congestion. This will help open pores and allow excess sebum to flow naturally from the skin pores, active blood flow to enhance collagen production to heal skin.
Do not use: if your skin has severe pustular activity, cystic acne, significant active lesions, lots of red inflamed skin. It is best to wait until the skin has healed before trying to dry face brush.
Why can't I use my Dry Body Brush on my face? Our facial skin is delicate and using a brush that is too rough will damage the skin. It can cause micro tears in your skin, and also broken capillaries. Over exfoliating the face is also a risk when using something too rough. If you exfoliate too much, you could suffer from peeling skin, sensitivity and inflammation. Face brushing is best done 1-2 times a week, however, depending on your skin type you could require more or less exfoliation.
Can I use it daily? We recommend you dry brush the face only 1-2 times per week. Always brush on dry skin. Follow with a good quality daily moisturiser so that your skin stays looking its best and doesn't dry out. Please note: Over brushing your face may cause dehydration and over stimulation which could lead to break outs.

Is rosehip oil good for acne?
Rosehip Oil is loved by beauty experts because of its versatility. It suits all skin types including acne-prone. Rosehip oil is a rich source of trans-retinoic acid (a natural form of Vitamin A) and linoleic acid (Omega 6 fatty acid). Research has shown that acne prone individuals are deficient in linoleic acid which can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Research has shown applying linoleic acid reduces the size of micro-comedones after a few weeks of use.
Is Rosehip Oil good for dry skin? Rosehip oil is great for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is deeply nourishing but also balancing.
Can Rosehip Oil improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles? Rosehip Oil contains all-trans retinoic acid (a natural retinoid) that is believed to help rejuvenates skin and reverses sun damage, scars, (including acne), and fine lines.
Why is Rosemary Extract added? These are premium quality brushes and should easily last several years if maintained properly.
Does Rosehip Oil contain Vitamin C?
No. This appears to be one of the biggest misconceptions about Rosehip Oil (and other plant oils)! I have found several trusted information sources that explain it this way. Vitamin C is water soluble and is not retained in plant oils. According to Dr Marion O'Leary (founder of best selling MOKOSH Skincare) "While it’s true that the whole fruit of rosehips and sea buckthorn contain abundant vitamin C, the vitamin C found in these fruits is water soluble, and so none is retained in the oil. This means that no oil contains any naturally occurring vitamin C. The same goes for B vitamins, which are also water-soluble, and protein. Vitamin A, its precursor beta-carotene, and vitamin E are oil-soluble, so these vitamins are often present in significant quantities in plant oils. If someone claims a naturally occurring oil is high in vitamin C, please do not believe them."
Is rosehip oil a good alternative to prescription Retinol? Rosehip seed oil is an excellent source of trans-retinoic acid (a natural form of Vitamin A) that may not have the risk of potential irritation that prescription retinoic acid might cause.
What is a dry oil? If you are confused by this term - you are not alone. It simply refers to the rate that an oil is absorb by your skin.
