    • Are Honua Skincare Products Cruelty Free? Yes. All Honua Skincare products are Cruelty Free and Vegan Friendly.

Is it good for oily/dry skin? When founder, Kapua Browning, became an esthetician 12 years ago, she discovered inflammation along with free radical damage and oxidation were some of the main causes of most skin conditions. Improper exfoliation and hydration also contributed. She discovered key Hawaiian healing botanicals that addressed these root causes and was able to develop a single line for all skin types and conditions. Honua Skincare has successfully treated acne, rosacea, hyper-pigmentation, pre-mature aging, dehydrated and dry skin… all using their single line.

What does the CO2 beside some ingredients mean?

Supercritical CO2 extraction is a more sophisticated and purer method of extracting oils from plants. Most of the essential oils we know and love are obtained through steam distillation. This involves heating the plants. Supercritical CO2 extraction uses carbon dioxide gas which is nontoxic, odorless, and easily removed from the extracted oil at the end of the process. Because lower temperatures are used during the process – heat sensitive plant components are preserved. The result is products that are more potent, more stable and have a longer shelf life.

Do I need to use it daily? Yes. To achieve full benefits from your skincare - you need to use them according to instructions. You may start seeing noticeable improvements in your skin tone and texture after about 3 - 4 weeks of regular use.

Does this take of eye makeup as well? Being white in colour, you can see where you've applied it on your lashes/brows. It dries clear very quickly.

Has the Moonstone Tonic been clinically tested? Yes, it has tested by chemists at a GMP and HACCP-compliant facility.

Is the packaging eco-friendly? Yes. Honua Skincare uses 100% recyclable and compostable packaging created using wind energy and inscribed with vegetable ink.

What does Honua mean? Honua (or Mother Earth) is a way of life that.

Where is it manufactured? All Honua Skincare products are manufactured in the United States. As many ingredients as possible are sourced from local Hawaii farms.
